LORA MAE GARDNER

Lora Mae Gardner was born March 12, 1928 in Pascola, MO.

She died April 27, 2018 in Hayti, at the age of 90 years, 1 month, and 15 days of age.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Avery C. Gardner, her parents, E.C. and Eileen Walker, and one sister, Betty Hardin.

Lora Mae was a faithful Christian and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived her life to glorify God and introduce every single soul to his amazing love. On March 21, 1947, she married the late Avery Gardner in Piggott, AR. To this union, five sons were born.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory, Clay Gardner of Jonesboro, AR, Mike (Charlotte) Gardner of Caruthersville, Randy (Sandy) of Kennett, David Gardner of Austin, TX, Timmy (Rhonda) Gardner of Hayti, 19 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday April 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, with Randy Gardner officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Randy Gardner, Jr., Matt Gardner, Tim Gardner, Jr., Courtney Gardner, David Gardner, Jr., and Christian Gardner.
