MARY KATHRYN MCCRATE

Mary Kathryn McCrate, 82 years, 1 month and 21 days, of Blytheville, Ark., passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her home. She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Red Bay, Ala., to Tommy and Lila Sprouse Eaton. She was united in marriage to Robert Bob McCrate, who preceded her in death Oct. 2, 2016. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Steele Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and enjoyed shopping trips.

Mrs. McCrate was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Lila Eaton; husband, Robert McCrate; one son, Steven Mack Morton; one daughter, Beverly Kay Morton, and two brothers, Thomas Eaton and Billy Eaton.

Survivors of Mrs. McCrate include one daughter, Cindy Morton of Memphis, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Balinda McCrate of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry Eaton of Blytheville and Ricky Eaton of Holland; three sisters, Bonnie (Robert) McCullough of Blytheville, Judy Schultz of Chicago, Ill., and Betty Shoup (Ray) of Blytheville; one grandson, Jessie Morton of Blytheville, and one great-grandchild, Kale Morton of New Madrid, Mo.

Funeral services for Mrs. McCrate were held at 12 noon, Monday, April 2 at DeLisle Funeral Home with Rev. Bertha Andrews officiating. Interment followed at Portageville Cemetery. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Pallbearers were Dustin Hayes, Tommy Shoup, Jacob Parish and Brian Roan.
