Alice Faye Lovins, 70, of Blytheville, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was born in Gosnell to Gerald and Mary Alice Johnson Moody. She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Blytheville. She spent her whole life doing what she loved - working with children.

Mrs. Lovins was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Mary Alice Johnson Moody, and one brother, Steve Moody.

Survivors of Mrs. Lovins include her husband, Jerry Lovins of the home; one son, Jeremy W. Lovins and his wife, Karessa, of Deering, Mo.; one brother, Allen Moody; three sisters, Pam Drumwright of Little Rock, Ark., Kathi Bolin of Kennett, Mo., and Tracy Wilson of Blytheville, Ark., and one grandson, Paxton L. Lovins.

A celebration of Mrs. Lovins’ life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com .
