Fire Calls

Sept. 23 - County Road 524. Vacant house set on fire. Total loss.

Sept. 25 - Save-A-Lot parking lot. Set up a landing zone for helicopter.

Sept. 26 - 1900 Block of Carroll. Construction crew struck a 1 inch gas line.

Sept. 29 - 706 Truman Blvd. Grass fire.

Fire Prevention Week is next week. The Department will visit all area schools to conduct Fire Prevention Education.

There were two Fire Inspections conducted last week. One at Mo. Probation & Parole, and the Daeoc Head Start at 710 East 18th. A fire drill was also conducted at Head Start.

Training for the Month of September was Tanker Operations and Drafting techniques. The course was held at 13th & Jefferson.
