She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
| She was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, reading, and taking care of her family. |
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ola Mae Dodd Maxwell, husband, James T. Watt, daughter, Judy Watt, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She leaves the following to cherish her memory, son, Michael and his wife Yolanda Watt of Mayfield, KY, daughter, Janice and her husband Tim of San Antonio, TX, sister, Shirley Godlove of Topeka, KS, brother, Bobby Maxwell of Hayti, 3 granddaughters, 5 great-granddaughters, and one great-son, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating. Burial was in the Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville. Pallbearers were family and friends.
