Steele Police Report

July 26 - A 26-year-old woman from Steele reported to police she had been physically assaulted by her 26-year-old boyfriend who is also from Steele. Officers made contact with the boyfriend who stated he was assaulted by the girlfriend when she struck him with her car. Both subjects were subsequently charged with domestic assault. The man and woman were later released by summons to appear in Steele Municipal Court. Arresting officer: Stanfield

July 29 - Jacob Glidewell, 19, was arrested by police on an active warrant through Pemiscot County charging him with burglary - second degree - and stealing. Glidewell was taken to the Pemiscot County Justice Center and incarcerated in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Arresting officer: Trimm
