Open gym held at R-3

At R-3 School, head basketball coach Wesley Richardson and summer assistant Dalton Whitfield hosted a week-long open gym. Students from grades 5-8 participated in the event each day, with Wednesday being the highlight of the week. "On Wednesday, we had all 16 players in attendance," he said. "It was a good day." Throughout the week, Richardson and Whitfield oversaw conditioning drills and scrimmages. At Thursday's session (July 13), 12 players were in attendance.
