Sarah L. Coleman

Sarah L. Coleman 73 years old of Caruthersville, passed away at her home Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was born February 8, 1944 in Caruthersville, MO to the late James R. Pucket and Olay B. Brogglin. She married James L. Coleman on November 7, 1959.

She was survived by three daughters, Donna Sue and husband Danny Borden, of Arnold, MO,

Holly Lynn and husband Geoff Duncan, of Decatur, IL, and Wendy Marie Claggett, of Caruthersville, MO; two sons, James Lamar Coleman, Jr. of Wardell, MO, and  Nathan Wayne and wife Jamie Coleman, Poplar Bluff, MO; and her sister

Zera Coleman, of Caruthersville, MO. She was also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchild, and one special grandchild, Woo Woo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Dale A. Coleman McBride, and her brothers Danny L. and Billy J. Brogglin.

The funeral service were held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. officiated by Rev. Gary Mann at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve, MO. The family received friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She was laid to rest at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve

Sarah had served her community as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher. She was a member of the women's auxiliary at church and had provided jail house ministry. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
