County receives grant for commercial paper shredder from DNR

The Bootheel Solid Waste Management District is pleased to announce that Pemiscot County has received a commercial paper shredder with grant funds from Department of Natural Resources. ($18,267.00)

The grant was prepared and submitted by Willard Adams, Regional Planner, with Bootheel Regional Planning Commission. The shredder has been placed in the County Courthouse and is now working for all County offices in the Court House and Justice Center to use.take

Angela Hudgens of the Sheltered Workshop will pick up the shredded product on an as needed basis to recycle.

Any private or public business wishing to utilize this equipment should check with Pam Treece as policy as usage will be set by the County Commissioners.
