Charles Pittman

Charles Pittman of Homestown, Missouri died April 26, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 76.

He was born March 13, 1941 in Kentwood, Louisiana to Alex Pittman and Lizzie Ramsey.

He was self-employed.

He was preceded in death by his longtime friend, Jean Robinson, his parents, Alexander and Elizabeth Ramsey Pittman and two brothers, Trevis and Vernon Pittman.

He is survived by two children he helped raise, Shawn and Kenyada Robinson of Springfield, MO, two grandchildren, Aonya and James Robinson of Springfield, MO, three brothers and their wives, Leroy and Ida Pittman of Caruthersville, MO, Donal and Nita Pittman of Carbondale, IL, and Clarence Pittman of Detroit, MI, two sisters, Carolyn Pittman of Kennett, MO and Donna Pittman of Homestown, MO.

Services took place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brimhall Funeral Chapel with Pastor Larry Guyton officiating.

Interment took place in the Homestown Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David, Roger, Bobby and Joe Pittman, Shawn Hunter and Billy Stewart. Honorary pallbearers were Clarence, Leroy, and Donald Pittman.
