David Ralph “Pete” Bizzle

David Ralph “Pete” Bizzle, 75, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Pete was born in Caruthersville, Missouri to the late Ralph David and Jo Murrie Zarecor Bizzle and was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy. He was self-employed in the mining industry with PDI Southeast Inc. and a member of the Methodist faith. Pete was a Mason and enjoyed volunteering, especially with the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Browning Bizzle, who has been by his side for 45 years; children, Shanda (Marshall) Davidson of Florence, Alabama, Amanda Collins of Anchorage, Alaska, David (fiancé, Kim Cacciatore) Bizzle of Columbus and Julie (Turley) Ward of Bluffton, South Carolina; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and siblings, Kathy Cokeing and Robert Bizzle, both of Memphis, Tennessee.
