Cindy Lou South Conway

Cindy Lou South Conway departed this life in Osceola, Arkansas on April 14, 2017 at the age of 59.

She was born June 12, 1957 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Joe South and the late Melissa Jane Magness South.

Cindy graduated from Caruthersville High School with the class of 1975. She attended college for a while and then decided to enlist in the United States Navy. She very proudly served her country for 10 years. She was awarded two bronze stars during her overseas service. She received her honorable discharge in Pensacola, Florida on November 7, 1988.

She is survived by four daughters, Melissa Dawn Campbell, Rebecca Jo Campbell, Sarah Elizabeth Conway, and Ruth Aline (Ali) Conway, one brother, Byron South, one sister, Patricia Storf, 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
