Caruthersville Baseball/Softball Recreation League season

The 2017 Caruthersville Baseball/Softball Recreation League season will be kicking off in just over a week. Saturday, April 22 is the official start date. The group is currently seeking those who would like to be placed on the umpire list for this years season. They are also looking for anyone who might be interested in helping in the concession stand. The group will host an umpires meeting/training and making final decisions by the end of the week. The pay for umpiring has increased in hopes of getting more adults to come out and help.

Also note, concessions have gotten even better with BBQ, nachos, pizza, popcorn, hotdogs, cheeseburgers, chips, candy, sunflower seeds, ice-cream, popsicles, candy bars, sodas, water, gatorade, possibly sweet tea and Frito chili and cheese bags. The money made from the concession stand will start go toward adding and upgrading to the ballpark for the kids. Skip the convenience store and enjoy a great meal while helping the area park offer a great place for the kids to play.
