JESSIE JAMES WILBOURN

Jessie James Wilbourn was born September 8, 1960 in Hayti, MO. Jessie gained his wings April 19, 2022 at Southgate Nursing Center in Caruthersville, MO. Jessie was preceded in death by his wife, Clarissa Wilbourn, father, Earl Wilbourn, son, Micheal Wilbourn, daughter, Tanisha Wilbourn, two sisters, Earline Tillman and Joann Evans, three brothers, David, James Earl (Puddin’) and Darren Wilbourn, and one grandson, Keyshawn Spates.

Jessie worked as a farmer for many years. He loved listening to his music, riding his 4 wheeler, doing yard work and spending time with his grandchildren. Jessie was known for the way he dressed. He was always dressed for the best.

He leaves to mourn, his mother, Josephine Wilbourn of Gobler, MO, his children, Cager (Ashley) Spates of Lawrence, KS, Jessyca (Herman) Rodgers of Steele, MO, Jessie (Tamika) Wilbourn of Jonesboro, AR, Keyonte Wilbourn and Eryca Davis of Jonesboro, AR, his stepchildren, Lamar, Naomi, Stacy, Mary Northern, and Contessa Mitchell, one sister, Doris Diaz of Nashville, TN, and five brothers, James Wilbourn of Steele, MO, Earl, Jr. (Cletha) Wilbourn of Gobler, MO, Greg Evans, Edward Crowley and Carl Webb, 32 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services were held April 29, 2022 at Powell Funeral Home in Steele, MO with Pastor Bruce Hollywood officiating.
