ACKIE MARIE BURTON CAVITT

Jackie Marie Burton Cavitt was born November 4, 1956 in Cooter, MO to J.D. Burton and Fredda Mae Forsythe Burton. She passed away on March 2, 2022 in Steele, MO at the age of 65.

She was united in marriage on July 16, 1988 in Cooter, MO to Rick Leon Cavitt, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents J.D. and Fredda Mae Burton, two sisters, Linda Shelton and Debra Burton.

She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Lynn Burton and her husband Robert of Festus, MO, two brothers and five sisters, June Hanchulak of Steele, MO, Rita Nichols of Hayti, MO, Shirley Gudehus and her husband Gene of Steele, MO, Larry Burton and his wife Amy of Kirksville, MO, Darla Overton of Steele, MO, Billy Don Burton of Green Bay, WI and Peggy Lopez of Steele, MO, two grandchildren, Matthew Helms and Zobie, Abby Helms and Jared, three great grandchildren, Riley, Layla and Aurora.

Services were held March 5, 2022 at Powell Funeral Home with Larry Burton and Jacob Britt officiating. Burial was in the Number Eight Cemetery in Cooter, MO. Pallbearers were Justin Becker, Mark Thompson, T.J. Spence, Blake Romhilt, Jeremy Burton and Gary Bott. Honorary Pallbearers were Gene Gudehus and Kelley Horton.
