JOHN WESLEY BEALS

John Wesley Beals was born on June 16, 1955 to the late Ida Mae and John Wesley Beals.

He was born and raised in St. Louis, MO where he was known for being a loyal friend and his great landscaping and carpentry skills. John had a great love for his family, particularly his brothers and sisters.

In 2008, his love for family grew when he moved to Hayti, MO and married Pearlie Beals. He gained 10 children and host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many friends.

While in Hayti, he became a member of Full Gospel church where he was always willing to sing, share kind words. Beals was a kind and caring man, who was always willing to help his loved ones in any way he could. No problem was too big or too small, if you needed him, he was there. Beals always kept a smile on his face and lived life to the fullest.

John Wesley Beals was called home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Mae and John Wesley Beals, brothers Terry Beals and Robert Beals, sisters Ida Beals and Georgia Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Pearlie Beals, brothers Issac (Carless) Beals, Ernest (Katrina) Beal and Armon Beals, sisters Ann Bennett and Fern (Marrlo) Scott. Sons Harry Rhines, Levester (Kimberly) Rhines, Tony (Renita) Rhines, Antonio (Kathy) Jones, Domenik Rhines, and Sylvester Whitley, daughters Ida (Andre) Abbott, Lawanda Jones, Catrina (Dwayne) Grant, and Alecia Rhines, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO. with David Covington officiating.
