JOYCE MARIE  ARMSTRONG

Joyce Marie Armstrong was born February 4, 1957 in Hayti, MO to Cornelius and Gladys Dixon. Her parents preceded her in death.

On July 4, 1985, Joyce married the love of her life, Eddie Armstrong. Joyce was a very sweet and kind person, she was a very good mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She was family oriented. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In her spare time, Joyce loved playing games on her phone and watching Godzilla movies, her favorite, helped her relax.

Joyce departed this life on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. She will be very much missed.

In addition to her husband, Eddie Lee Armstrong, she is survived by her three daughters, Danielle Yvonne Davis, Kesha Yvette Kinnon, and Candice Latoya Kinnon, two sisters, Dorothy Taylor out of North Carolina from Sikeston and Mary Amerson, one brother out of Illinois, Cornelius Taylor and sister in law, Leota Taylor. She also had a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren in Missouri, also nieces, nephews, and cousins, some out of North Carolina, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Verna Wynne and Stephanie Cannon and six grandchildren, Destiny Kinnon, Shayla Amerson, Antonio Amerson, Jerome Finley, Malik Amerson and Shane Evans.

Services were held February 26, 2022 at Morning Star Church with Pastor James Hill officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Hayti, MO. Pallbearers were Donta Jackson, Shawn Jackson, Robert Cooper, Lavonta Wilbourn, Tray Jackson, Robert Cooper Jr. and Steve Wilbourn.
