BENJAMIN (BENNY) HUGH MAULDIN

Benjamin (Benny) Hugh Mauldin was born September 4, 1944 in Blytheville, AR.

He died April 12, 2018 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 73.

Benny was first and foremost a child of God. Benny loved his family, and loved to work. He worked at Chrysler for forty-two years. Benny was a kind and gentle soul, and would help anyone he met. Some of his favorite things to do were read his Bible, work, watch television, and sit on the porch and watch birds. Benny also enjoyed aggravating his grandkids and great-grandkids as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Era Mauldin, one daughter, Jackie, one brother, James Wayman, and seven sisters, Bernice, Clovis, Avis, Sarah, Marlette, Claudia, and Shirley.

He leaves the following to cherish his memory, his wife, Nora Mauldin, formerly of Caruthersville, two daughters, Gayla Marie and Penny Elizabeth, son-in-laws Dan Clark and Steven Bauer. He was thrilled to have grandchildren, Jeremy, Daniel, Bobbi Sue, Matthew, Cheyanne, and Brooke. He was blessed to have two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Ethan. And a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, with Pastor Shun Abram officiating. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville with full military honors.
