On December 19, 2024 county deputies received a report of a burglary and theft from a County resident. The suspect was identified as Connor Denton, 26, of Cooter. Homeowners told the deputies he had some of the stolen proprety in his possession. Later that day, according to the probable cause statement, deputies received information that Denton would return some of the stolen property to the victims residence by placing it on the roadway near the property.
