RENNA LASTER

Renna Laster, age 89 of Steele, MOi and formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the River Oaks Nursing Home in Steele, MO Born to Earnest and Pauline White Razer in the Oak Ridge Community near Cooter, MO, she was a hairdresser at Jeans Beauty Nook. Following her employment at Jeans she went to work at Skincare and then became a sales clerk at Pat’s Fashions. Renna was a faithful, dedicated member of Number Nine Baptist Church where she taught the youth of the church and loved to sing in the choir. She was an excellent cook with her specialties being potato salad and divinity candy. Renna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Laster; brothers, T.C. Razer, Gordon Razer, and Hoyt Razer.

Renna is survived by her brothers, Reginald and Diana Razer of Sylacauga, AL, James Lyle and Charlotte Razer of Mt. Home, AR and sister Regina and Randy Reynolds of Wilson, AR; nieces and nephews, Kevin Razer, Tanda Holaway, Stacey Saliba, Haley Blake, Cathy Shubert, Sheri Harris, Karen Ellis, Greg Razer, Tyler Razer, Shane Adkisson, Heath Adkisson, Aaron Razer, Sandra Samford, Gabby Bond, David Bond, Pam Gardner, Robert Paul Pritchard, Patryc McSwain, Terry Hawkins, Mason Laster and Lei Ann Odom.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:30 pm in the Number 8 Cemetery in Cooter, MO with Reverend Charles Hurley officiating. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorials be made to the Number Nine Baptist Church or Mitchells Number 8 Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
