February 28- At approximately 6 p.m. Los Portales restaurant reported three females left without paying for their meal which totaled $84.14. On March 1, video of the incident was reviewed and with the publics help via social media the individuals were quickly identified and turned themselves in to the Department. Officers arrested a 28 year-old, female and a 25 year-old female both from Caruthersville on the charge of stealing. It was determined that the third individual in the video was a 10 year-old child of one of the suspects. They were released on a summons to Hayti Municipal court after paying their $84.14 bill and were barred from returning to Los Portales restaurant.

March 2- At approximately 9 a.m. officers arrested Anthony Miller, 37, of Hayti on two County warrants charging him with Burglary 2nd degree. He was held in lieu of $60,000 cash or surety bond.

March 3 - Officers arrested Caresa McIntyre, 36, of Hayti On multiple Municipal Failure to Appear Warrant for original charges of Trespassing, Disobedience to Police, Resisting Arrest. McIntyre was transported to the Justice Center with a bond amount of $497.50

March 6 - At approximately 6 p.m. officers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling west on State Highway 84. The vehicle failed to yield to officers and accelerated on reaching speeds of 97 miles an hour in a 35 mph zone. The vehicle then drove east bound in the west bound lanes of US Highway 412 almost causing a few accidents before it crossed the median and finally came to a stop on Highway 412 and South Pemiscot Street in Hayti. Officers were able to take a 34 year-old male from Wappapello, MO into custody without further incident. Upon further investigation it was determined that the suspect had stolen the 1993 Buick from the Hayti Hospital parking lot. The suspect is being held in the Pemiscot County Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

March 4 - Officers responded to the area of Chestnut and Jefferson in reference to shots fired. During the course of the investigation officers learned the suspects involved in the shooting were Juveniles and the incident stemmed from a large fight that occurred earlier that day. Officers learned the identity of the juveniles and were able to obtain a juvenile warrant through the Division of Youth Services. The same juveniles were also charged with Multiple Vehicle break in along with multiple gun theft charges. Others charges have been filed with the Juvenile Office for several other juveniles involved.

March 7- - The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Quinton Smith of Wappapello, MO with Stealing a Motor Vehicle (Class D Felony), Resisting Arrest (Class E Felony), Operating a Vehicle in a Carless and Imprudent Manner (Class B Misdemeanor). Smith is being held on a No Bond.

March 12 - Officers were called to Drury Inn in reference to a female trying to purchase Narcotics. When Officers arrived the female was located inside of her vehicle which appeared to of been crashed. The female refused all Officers commands to exit the vehicle and then began attempting to flee from officers in the vehicle, almost striking officers in the process. The female became stuck in a field, at which time officers were able to remove her from the vehicle and take her into custody.

March 14 - The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Katherine Turner of Memphis, TN with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class D Felony), DWI- prior (Class A Misdemeanor), Resisting Arrest (Class E Felony) and Armed Criminal action (Unclassified Felony) Turner is being held at the Justice Center with No Bond.

March 13 - Officers arrested Anthony Blagg, 23, on Active warrants out of Hayti for Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, Seat Belt. Blagg was processed and transported to P.C.J.C with a bond amount of $319. Blagg was also charged with Disobedience to Police in the city of Hayti with a court date of March 17, 2022

March 13 - Officers arrested Terry Blagg, 54, on active warrants out of Hayti for Driving while Revoked or Suspended, No Insurance. Blagg was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond amount of $802.00

March 13 - Officers arrested Gabriel Gurley, 42, on an active warrant out of Hayti for Driving while suspended while Revoked. Gurley was transported to the Justice Center with a bond amount of $390.10

March 13 - Officers arrested Amanda Garner, 34, on an active warrant out of Kennett for Shoplifting. Garner was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond amount of $200.00

March 13 - Officers arrested Glen Morgan, 42, on active warrants out of Caruthersville for Traffic Offense. Morgan was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond amount of $305.00

March 14 - Officers arrested Chetara Watkins, 32, on an active warrant out of Dent County for Assault 3rd Degree. Watkins was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond amount of $2500

March 14 - Officers charged Starla Christian with Concealing an Offense, in an ongoing investigation. Christian is due to appear in court. April 21, 2022.
