FRANCES GERALDINE STEVENS

Frances Geraldine Stevens was born June 10, 1930 in Gurdon, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Herman J. Rickett and Ina Casteel Rickett.

She departed this life on May 20, 2018 at Southgate Living Center in Caruthersvile. She was 87 years old.

She was united in marriage to Robert O. (Red) Stevens. He preceded her in death.

Geraldine had many hobbies. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and canning fresh veggies out of her garden.

She worked at the Assembly of God daycare for many years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents (Herman and Ina Rickett), her husband (Robert Stevens) and two brothers (Charlie T. Rickett and Danny R. Rickett).

She is survived by one son, Dennis R. Stevens (Tina) of Caruthersville, two daughters, Joyce DeRousse (Michael) of Amite, LA, Sherry Wilson of Caruthersville, one sited, Linda C. McIntosh of Caruthersville, eight grandchildren, Christy Rodrigue of Laplace, LA, Kevin Dodson of Dyersburg, TN, Carrie Taylor of Amite, LA, Beverly Peevyhouse (Corey) of Newbern, TN, Christopher Gibbens (Patricia) of Caruthersville, Ricky Dodson (Kelly) of Boise, ID, Stephanie Pegues of Harrisburg, MS, Leneatha Meador (Travis) of Kennett, 22 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held May 23 at the Caruthersville Assembly of God with Pastor Shawn Harding.

Pallbearers were Ethan Rudd, Travis Meador, Justin McLemore, Grayson Mattox, Alex Rudd, Corey Peevyhouse.
