EMARD CARROLL LITTRELL

Emard Carroll Littrell, 76, of Steele passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Memphis, Tenn. He was born March 10, 1942, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., to Atlas Littrell and Maude Johnson Littrell. He was united in marriage to Carol Faye McKay on May 31, 1961. He was a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Holland.

Mr. Littrell was preceded in death by his parents, Atlas Littrell and Maude Johnson Littrell; four sisters, Jewel Flanagan, Marie Fox, Irene Tally and Vaudie Byrd, and two brothers, Clarence Junior Littrell and Victory Littrell.

Survivors of Mr. Littrell include his wife, Carol Faye Littrell of Steele; one daughter, Beverly Glenn of Steele; three sisters, Evelyn Hodge, Mary Ann Shultz and Ozell Robinson; one brother, Delmer Littrell; three grandchildren, Dustin Glenn of Steele, Kirra Boyter of Forney, Texas, and Karissa Ferrell of Shreveport, La., and one great-granddaughter, Felicity Brynn Ferrell.

Funeral services for Mr. Littrell were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. James Riley officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation was held from 12 noon until the time of the service. Pallbearers were Bill Gray, Cecil Riley, Dalton Ferrell, Clifford Britt, Hubert Johnson and Travis Vaughn.

Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
