EDNA EARL JONES

Edna Earl Jones of Bragg City was born May 10, 1939 in Cherokee, AL.

She died May 1, 2018 in Kennett at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

Edna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bragg City. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, gardening, cooking, cleaning her house, watching Nancy Grace and Cops on television, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Alice Guest Wellington, husband, Elmer Fay Jones, grandson, Josey Jones, and 10 siblings,.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory, four children, Wanda Kay Jones and Tim Rinehart of Hayti, Elmer Paul Jones and wife Monoco of Kennett, Richard Lee Jones and wife Denise of Bragg City, and Kelly Brown and husband Austin of Kennett, 12 grandchildren, Jay and Catelyn, Courtney, Bryar and Timber, Julia, Trey, Devon, Cody, Shy, Raven, Zak, 3 great-grandchildren, Melanie, Kendall, and Jaxson, sister, Patricia Martin of Hayti, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Friday morning, May 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti in Hayti with Bro. Dale Rickman officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.

Pallbearers were Jay Cooper, Bryar and Trey Jones, Cody Brown, Devon Payne, and Tim Rinehart.
