LOLEDA HICKERSON

Loleda Hickerson died April 9, 2018 at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, MO at the age of 91.

She was born October 15, 1926 in Puxico, MO to Cecil Tolbert and Alma Johnson.

On May 25, 1947 she was united in matrimony with Dallas Hickerson, at Mount Vernon, MO. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2001.

She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Hickerson was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Alma Johnson Tolbert; husband, Dallas Hickerson, and one brother, Harold Tolbert.

She is survived by one son, Dallas Dwight and wife Betty Hickerson of Sharpsburg, GA, one brother, Robert C. Tolbert of Millington, TN, one sister, Lena Latham of Camdenton, MO, one granddaughter, Tonya and husband Raul Rosas of Palmetto, GA, and one great-grandson Alexander Rosas of Palmetto, GA.

Funeral services took place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Wardell Baptist Church with Reverends Griff Walker and Kevin Carter officiating.

Pallbearers were Lee Watkins, Harold G. Wilson, Johnny Watkins, Billy Nelson Crabtree, Roger Tarver and Rodney Quinn. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Orton Wilson and Raul Rosas.

Interment took place in the Portageville Cemetery in Portageville, MO.
