WILMA WELLS FULLERTON

Wilma Wells Fullerton, 92, of Steele passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti. She was born April 21, 1925, in Steele to the late Owen Vernon Wells and Ruby Pearl Wells. She was united in marriage to Paul D. Fullerton on March 7, 1944, in Osceola, Ark. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a retired bookkeeper at Cooperman’s Furniture. She worked there for 40 years, and she was the owner of Wilma’s Ceramics.

Mrs. Fullerton was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Ruby Wells; husband, Paul Fullerton; one great-grandchild, Parker Louis Fullerton; one sister, Norman Nicholas Gilbert, and two brothers, Burt Wells and Vernon Wells Jr., “Bob”.

Survivors of Mrs. Fullerton include one son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Paulette Fullerton of Searcy, Ark.; one grandson and his wife, Shane and Jama Fullerton of Searcy, Ark.; four great-grandchildren, J. Paul, Pate, Kloey and Broc Fullerton; one sister, Melba Wells Poteet of Steele, and several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
