| Wilks Robinson, 65, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Richardson Funeral Home. The family received friends prior to the service at the funeral home. |
Mr. Robinson, a son of the late Wann Van Robinson, Jr. and Margie Gail Normant Robinson was from Caruthersville, Missouri. He attended Caruthersville Schools and graduated in the class of 1971 He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and member of the Marion Presbyterian Church. Mr. Robinson was the former owner of Wilks Robinson Construction Company.
Surviving are his daughters: Kristi Robinson Childs (Curtis) of Memphis, TN, Kara Beth Robinson of West Columbia, SC, and Virginia Anne Robinson of Marion, SC; brother, Wann Van “Robin” Robinson (Mary) of Inverness, FL; sister, Maggie Robinson Riales of Mullins, SC; and four grandchildren: Stephen Barnes, Mason, Madison, and Hanalise Yarbrough.
