THOMAS RANDALL WALDROP

Tuesday, January 2, 2018

Thomas Randall Waldrop was born June 25, 1949 at Braggadocio, Missouri. He was the son of Marvin and Maxine Waldrop

He departed this life at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 6, 2017. He was 68 years old.

Randall graduated from Caruthersville High School in 1967. He then proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Westover Air Force Base in Massachusetts.

He returned to Caruthersville and on October 31, 1970 he married Beverly Conway. They were the proud parents of two daughters- Randi and Kori.

For 35 years, Randall worked for the local cable company, Mediacom. After retiring from there, he immediately went to work for the City of Caruthersville Parks and Recreation. He worked there for 7 years. He was also a past volunteer with the Caruthersville Fire Department.

Randall was the pillar of strength for his family. He went above and beyond to let his family know how loved and cared for they were. His grandkids were his heart and he cherished spending time with them.

He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. His best stories to tell were always about his years of hunting trips and his Friday night card games.

He was the kind of man who took pride in his family, his home and his community. He cared about the people in this community and was always there when someone was in need. To most people in town, he was their PA too!
