FRED JUNIOR ROBINSON
Fred Junior Robinson was born March 13, 1926 at Cottonwood Point, Missouri. He was the son of Fred M. Robinson and Martha Battles Robinson.
He departed this life at his home in Festus, Missouri on November 20, 2017. He was 91 years old.
Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was married to Norma Jean Myrick in Caruthersville, Missouri. She preceded him in death in 1996,
Fred was manager for Denver Ward Chevrolet in Desoto, MO before he retired.
He was a huge coin collector. He enjoyed fishing, trading guns and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Martha Robinson, his wife, Norma Jean Robinson, a daughter, Linda Jane Suttle, two brothers, Virgil and Billy Joe Robinson, and a sister, Mary Virginia Hilburn.
He is survived by his son, Fred Robinson of Caruthersville, MO, one sister, Barbara Angela of Conway, AR, four grandchildren, Ian Suttle, Erin Suttle, Fred Robinson, Jr., and Jason Robinson, three great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
| Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating. Entombment followed in Maple Cemetery. |
Pallbearers were Brandon Wilkerson, Gary Hilburn, Ian Suttle, Jeffery Angela, Jeff Hinton, and Joe Clark.
