C.P.D. NEEDS YOUR HELP!

In an effort to make the parade route safe and to provide maximum viewing for everyone, the Caruthersville Police Department asks that you DO NOT PARK ON WARD AVENUE along the curb during the annual Christmas Parade. The parade is scheduled for Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.

Officers will stop through traffic at the high school around 1 p.m. as the line up begins. At 1:30 p.m., they will begin blocking intersections along Ward Ave. from 15th Street to 3rd Street.

Please come out and enjoy the parade as you plan accordingly. Parking is available behind many of the businesses on Ward Avenue or in side lots. But please do not park curbside on Ward Avenue.

With lots of children eager to see Santa and candy flying, little ones can get distracted and running between vehicles can be a serious danger. To ensure a safe and happy holiday for all of us, please assist them in this.
