DEBORAH NEAL HAGER

Deborah Neal Hager, 62, of Steele passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, in Steele. She was born April 15, 1955, in Hayti to the late Roger Stanford Davidson Sr., and Margaret Cherry Davidson. She was united in marriage to Carl Hager on Aug. 21, 1975, in Micola. She was a graduate of South Pemiscot and worked in the trucking business along with her husband for many years.

Mrs. Hager was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Stanford Davidson Sr., and Margaret Cherry Davidson; two brothers, Michael and Roger Davidson, and one niece, Amy Hicks.

Survivors of Mrs. Hager include her husband, Carl Hager of Steele; two daughters, Heather Hager and Alan of Steele and Kimberly Simmons and Kevin of Steele; one sister, Judith Stubblefield and Gary of Steele; one grandson, Ryan Simmons; three granddaughters, Hannah Hager, Michael-Ann Hager and Bethanie Simmons, and a host of nieces and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hager were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13 at Powell Funeral Home with Jeremy Damesworth officiating. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12.

Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
