ALETHA NADINE RAY

Aletha Nadine Ray died November 11, 2017 at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, MO at the age of 95.

She was born July 25, 1922 in Wardell to Dallas Owens and Ada Bethel Dillard.

On June 12, 1946 in Piggott, AR, she was united in marriage to Phillip Ray. He preceded her in death on January 31,1997.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Ethel Owens, husband Phillip Ray, sister Geraldine Terrell, and brother-in-law Ralph Terrell.

She is survived by two daughters, Vicky and husband Jim Nunnery of Boydsville, AR, Patty and husband Don Goggans of Lowell, AR, one sister, Betty and husband Leon Curtis, two grandson, Jon Eric Rudden of Fort Smith, AR, and Scott Rudden and wife Shawne of Jonesboro, AR, two great-grandsons, Blake Rudder of Lowell, AR, and Jadyn Rudden Smith of Lone Jack, MO.

Funeral services took place at 11:00 on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Wardell Baptist Church with Minister Griff Walker officiating. Interment took place at the Dunklin County Memorial Gardens in Kennett.

Pallbearers were Jim Nunnery, Don Goggans, Eugene Yancil, Roger Tarver, Chris Terrell, and Jon Eric Rudden. Honorary pallbearer was Scott Rudden.

The Brimhall Funeral Home of Wardell in charge of arrangements.
