Rether Louise Herren was born August 24, 1950 in Hohenwald, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Willie Strange and Retha Watkins.

She departed this life at her home in Caruthersville on October 31, 2017 at the age of 67.

On April 25, 1992 in Caruthersville, at the Wesleyan Church she was united in marriage to Mr. Claud Herren.

Louise was a collector. She had a big collection of dolls, coca cola items, and angels. She loved watching T.V. Her greatest collection was her 12 grandkids plus the great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Strange and Retha Gaskins, a son, John Sikkema, two daughters, Jennifer Davis and Regina Lytle, a sister-in-law Laverne Ayers, a brother-in-law J.C. Herren, and four brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Claud Herren of Caruthersville, MO, one son, Marvin Strange of Philadelphia, PA, three daughters, Jannet Wiggins and her husband, James of Jamestown, LA, Misty Rudd and her husband Jimmy of Deering, MO, and Peggy Strange of Deering, MO, a brother, Daniel Strange and his wife Brenda of San Antonio, TX, two brothers-in-law, Loyd Herren and his wife, Paulette, Steve Herren and his wife, Patricia, two sisters-in-law, Alice Smith and Loretta Spray and her husband, Dennis, 12 grandchildren, Todd Strange and his wife Erin, of Caraway, AR, Teresa Northcutt and her husband, Jerry of Bossier City, LA, Angelica Barham of Salina, KS, Priscilla Davis and her husband, Dion Foster of Caruthersville, Kyler Faulkner of Deering, Blake Strange of Deering, Taylor Wiggins of Jamestown, LA, Jordan Faulkner of Deering, Micheal Flippo of Deering, Hunter Rudd of Deering, Miranda Strange of Houston, TX, Kressy Strange of Buchanan, MI, five great-grandkids, Hudson, Alyssa, De’trique, Cameron, and Eleanor Rose, a very faithful friend, Jo Ann Rogers, two God Children, Jessica and Christina Reeves, both of Caruthersville, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment followed in Maple Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Blake Strange, Micheal Flippo, Todd Strange, Tyler Faulkner, Jordan Faulkner, and Hunter Rudd.
