ANNIE LYNN BERRY

Annie Lynn Berry of Hayti was born December 2, 1933 in Athens, TN. She died October 3, 2017 in Hayti at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 1 day of age.

She was a native of Athens, TN and a long time resident of Hayti. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Minnie Boggess and was preceded in death by her husband, James William Berry of Hayti, on March 16, 1955, three sisters, Laura Belle Snipes, Irene Morgan, Francis Robinson, and four brothers, Fred Earnest Marshall Lee, Edward, and Jesse Boggess.

She was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Delta C-7 School, where she was employed as a cook for 26 years.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory, son, Jerry Wayne Berry of Hayti, daughters, Pamela Forrester of Hayti, Patricia and David Gray of Athens, TN, sister, Nellie Price of Athens, TN, special friend, Pam McDaniel of Deering, 6 grandchildren, Amanda and Andy Gray, Brandy Harrell, Justin Moore, Dustin and Dylan Hilburn, 8 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.

Pallbearers were Dennis Gray, Kevin Potts, James Ham, Roy Birmingham, Mike Quinn, and Henry Berry.
