BERTIE MARIE WILLBANKS

Bertie Marie Willbanks, age 83, went to be with the Lord October 11, 2017 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Arthur E Willbanks. She and Mr Willbanks, "Gene," were married in 1954 at First Nazarene Church in Caruthersville. She was also preceded in death by her daughter in law, Nancy Willbanks, two brothers Raymond and Rob Oliver, and two sisters, Mabel and Lucille.

Bertie was a long time resident of Caruthersville and was formerly a member of First Nazarene Church and more recently a member of Kinfolks Ridge Baptist Church of Caruthersville. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Charles Oliver of Caruthersville.

She is survived in death by two sisters, Jo Mesplay of TN and Fay Calvert of California, and three brothers, Barney Oliver and Wayne Oliver, both of Sikeston, MO, and Jim Oliver of Florida. She is also survived by her three devoted children: Steven Willbanks, husband of Nancy Willbanks, both life time residents of Caruthersville, MO, Richard Willbanks and wife Lori of Kingsland, Ga, and daughter, Teresa Weber and her husband Dan of Greeneville, TN. She has six loving grandchildren that also survive her: Dana Russell and husband Noel Russell of Knoxville, TN, Daniel Weber of Greeneville, TN, Sara Byrd and her husband Jonathan of Caruthersville, Mo, Joshua Willbanks of Caruthersville, MO, Erica Vicars and her husband Jacob of Clarksville, TN, and Vance Willbanks of Kingsland, Ga.

She was a proud and doting great grandmother to ten young great grandchildren.
