Watkins and Khourie to Wed

Doug and Lynn Khourie of Hayti have announced the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Julia Louise Khourie, to Austin Alan Tyler Watkins, son of Bobby and Lisa Watkins.

Julia is a 2013 graduate of Hayti High School. She is currently attending Central Methodist College working on a degree in Special Education/Early Education. Julia is the granddaughter of Regina Khourie and the late Edward Khourie and the late Vernon Romay and Panchita Romay.

Austin is a 2013 graduate of Hayti High School. He is a 2014 graduate of Arkansas Northeastern College with a degree in HVAC. He is currently working for the City of Hayti Water Department. Austin is the grandson of the late Verna and Joe Black and Don Murrell and the late Betty Murrell

Their wedding will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at the home of Julia's Uncle and Aunt, Bobby and Mimi Khourie. A reception will follow at the Hayti Community Center. They will be taking a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean for their honeymoon.
