Lady Chargers fall to Senath-Hornersville

The Delta C-7 Lady Chargers took on the Senath-Hornersville Lady Lions in a pair of volleyball matches at Deering Thursday evening, Sept. 8. Unfortunately, both the varsity and JV Chargers lost in two sets. The junior varsity score was 25-19, 25-16, and the varsity match was 25-15, 25-23. In the JV game, Kagan Teel, London Jones, Abbey Callis and Riley Gilmore all had kills. Jaden Montgomery served up a pair of aces. In the varsity game, Hannah Johnson, Grace Lannie, Casidy Strother and Shania Drumright recorded at least one kill each. Pictured above is Kelsey Payne on the attack with help from Grace Lannie.
