Texas Jerry Forrester was born December 14, 1935 in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was the son of Ellis John Forrester and Bessie Lee Miller Forrester.
He departed this life in Gosnell, Arkansas on September 16, 2017 at the age of 81.
| Tex proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enlisted on April 26, 1957 in Blytheville, Arkansas. He served during the Korean War. He received his honorary discharge on October 10, 1960 at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. |
Tex was the Chief of Police in Cooter for many years.
He was a member of the Steele Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Bessie Forrester, and two brothers, Ralph and Miller Forrester.
