WAYNE DEMORIS ROGERS

Wayne Demoris Rogers was born on November 20, 1956 to Bill Rogers and Katherine Smith of Hayti.

Mr. Wayne Rogers had worked on the farms for many years for Gary Swan and also did yard work for Delores Swan Moore for many years. Wayne Rogers was a hard worker just like the rest of his family. Wayne was always there to help when you needed it. Wayne attended the church with his sister Ida at the Lighthouse in Caruthersville.

Wayne lived with his sister Ida in Caruthersville later on in life and in his final days was cared for by Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, Missouri where he passed away on August 26, 2017.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Rogers, his father, Bill Rogers, three brothers, John L. Rogers, Bill Rogers, Jr., and Milton Rogers.

Wayne leaves a son, Terry Wayne Rogers in Carbondale, IL. Wayne has five sisters, Ida Rogers of Caruthersville, Katye Calagate of Salem, AL, Glen and Marcia of Saginaw, MI, Mildred Bledsoe of Oshkosh, WI, two brothers, Richard Rogers of Columbia, MO and Alton Rogers of Plymouth, MO, one niece, Trena Jones, two nephews, Arnold Jones of Memphis, TN and Garfield Jones of Kennett. He leaves behind his friend McNeal and wife, James West and wife Delores Moore, Cary and Gary Swan of Hayti. Wayne leaves behind a host of other friends and relatives.

The Brimhall Funeral Home of Hayti in charge of arrangements.

He was buried in the Homestown Cemetery in Homestown, MO, on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
