Sept. 7 - Billy Frazier on Canal Street reported to police that someone had burglarized his home and had stolen his medication.

Sept. 9 - Jared Handley reported to police that someone had burglarized his home on Quapaw Street and had stolen his 32-inch Vizio TV.

Sept. 9 - Police responded to a residence on South Walnut Street in reference to a domestic assault. Upon arrival, officers met with a woman who stated she was assaulted by her boyfriend. The man had left prior to officer’s arrival. The investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 10 - Police arrested Tiuneka Farmer, 35, of Steele on a Pemiscot County warrant charging her with passing bad checks (no bond). Farmer was taken to the Pemiscot County Justice Center. Arresting officer: Carter

Sept. 12 - Angie Martin of Steele signed a complaint against a 35-year-old woman of Steele. The complaint alleges the suspect yelled profanities toward her. The suspect was charged with peace disturbance and given a date to appear in Steele Municipal Court. Arresting officer: Carter

Sept. 13 - Police arrested Laura Myers, 23, of Steele on two active warrants through Pemiscot County, one charging her with distribution of a controlled substance and the other charging her with possession of a controlled substance (no bond). Arresting officer: Trimm

Sept. 14 - Police arrested Jason Galbraith, 24, of Steele on an active Pemiscot County warrant charging him with failure to appear on an assault charge (bond $452.30). Arresting officer: Reno

Sept. 16 - Police responded to the Still Gin with report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the owner of the gin who had the alleged burglar detained. Officers arrested the man, who was identified as Lanny Grubbs, 54, of Steele. At the time of Grubbs’ arrest, officers found him being in possession of a glass pipe containing suspected methamphetamine. Capt. Randy Trimm filed a report with the Pemiscot County prosecuting attorney, and a warrant was subsequently issued charging Grubbs with first-degree burglary with bond set at $50,000. Additional charges of possession of a controlled substance has also been filed against Grubbs. Arresting officer: Trimm

Sept. 16 - Lola Narvaek of Missouri Street reported to police that someone had stolen her car. Narvaek told officers that she had loaned her car to a couple, but the man and woman never returned with the car. Police are currently seeking the individuals responsible of stealing the motor vehicle.

Sept. 18 - Police responded to the Family Dollar Store in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers arrested a 52-year-old woman of Steele on charges of shoplifting. The suspect was taken to the police department where she was processed and later released by summons to appear in Steele Municipal Court. Arresting officer: Trimm

Sept. 18 - Police responded to the Dollar General Store in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers arrested a 50-year-old woman from Steele charging her with shoplifting. The suspect was processed and then taken to the Pemiscot County Justice Center where she was incarcerated. Arresting officer: Carter
