JOANN ELAINE WALLACE

JoAnn Elaine Wallace was born October 31, 1943 in Hayti, Missouri. She was the daughter of J.W. Richardson and Nadine Ward Richardson.

She departed this life in Jonesboro, Arkansas on September 10, 2017. She was 73 years old.

JoAnn was married to Johnny Wallace on August 14, 1970. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1997.

She was a lady that loved life-she enjoyed shopping via the television on QVC, she worked puzzle books, and did adult coloring books. Her flower beds and yard were very important. Parking on the grass was off limits. She helped her husband on their farm and even continued to stock their fish pond after his death. Casper, her totally white cat, was alway getting petted and loved. All of these things were important to JoAnn but nothing was more important than her grandkids and great grandkids.

JoAnn’s favorite time of the year was the fall. She loved to go for rides to look at all the leaves turning colors and falling.

She was a member of the 7th and Mueller Church in Paragould.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Nadine Richardson, her husband, Johnny Wallace, a sister, Donna Smith, a granddaughter, Ashton Wilkerson, and a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Davidson.

She was survived by three daughters, Teresa Ward of Wardell, MO, Dana Milloway of Wardell, MO, and Johnna Pratt and her husband, David of Paragould, AR, a brother, Jerry “Brother” Richarderson, a sister, Sheila Greenwell, six grandchildren, Jonathon Davidson and wife,Mary, Kim Keene and her husband, Marcus, Elizabeth Wallace, Michael Milloway, Kaitlyn Wilkerson, Lana Franks, eight great-grandchildren, Zachary, Annalee, Logan, Kinley, Crislyn, Bentley, Mack, and Pearl, many other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Keene officiating at the H.S. Smith Chapel. Interment followed in the Wallace Mound Cemetery in Wardell.

Pallbearers were Kent Buck, Jonathan Davidson, Marcus Keene, Danny Glass, Kenneth Gilmore, and Gary Wilson.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
