Aug. 29 - Officers arrested Idell Mooney, 32, of Steele on an active probation and parole warrant (no bond). Mooney was taken to the Justice Center. Arresting Officer: Trimm.

Aug. 29 - Alan Holt responded to police that someone had entered his home on Brooks Street and stole his 32 inch Emerson flat screen TV.

Aug. 30 - Officers arrested Tammy Davis, 40, of Hayti on an active probation violation warrant (no bond). Davis was taken to the Justice Center. Arresting Officer:Trimm.

Sept. 4 - Officers arrested Nathan Matlock, 35, of Steele on an active parole violation warrant (no bond). Matlock was transported to the Justice Center. Arresting Officer: Carter.

Sept. 8 - County Deputies and Steele police conducted a traffic stop on North Walnut Street. Police identified a passenger inside the car as being Daniel Wilbourn, 35, whom had an active probation violation warrant for non support (bond $500). During the course of the stop officers obtained consent to search the vehicle and during the search a substantial amount of purposed methamphetamine along with a small amount of purported marijuana was located. Estimated street value of the suspected methamphetamine was $1,500. Marcus Spates, a passenger in the car, was arrested for felony possession of drugs. Steele officer Eric Reno filed charges with the prosecuting attorney and a warrant for Marcus Spates, 32, of Steele was subsequently issued charging him with delivery of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia with bond being set at $200,000.

Sept. 8 - Steele police and County Deputies conducted a consensual search at an apartment at Nobel Estates. During the search officers located and seized a substantial amount of purported marijuana that was packaged for sale. The estimated street value of the suspected marijuana is $800. Officers arrested Shawn Myers, 28, of Steele on felony drug charges. Officer Eric Reno filed charges with the prosecuting attorney and a warrant was subsequently issued charging Myers with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia with bond set at $100,000.
