Annual Fisher Delta Research Center dinner held

The fish served at the Annual Fisher Delta Research Center dinner was enjoyed by all.

Mike Lee of Earl's Flying Service of Steele hosted the annual dinner held in honor of the University of Missouri Fisher Delta Research Center and its supporters Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at the Steele Municipal Airport. Those in attendance included staff and faculty of the University of Missouri and the Fisher Delta Research Center, as well as state and local officials.

Friends and family caught up and enjoyed dinner from Leachville’s Big Butts BBQ.

The afternoon's activities began with a round of “dove hunting practice” at the Steele Firing Range, followed by an outstanding barbecue dinner with all the fixings from Big Butts BBQ of Leachville, Ark.
