DOROTHY HARPER

Dorothy Harper, 88, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, in Gosnell, Ark. She was born July 11, 1929, in Huffman, Ark., to Blan H. and Reba Millay Williamson. She was united in marriage to Marvin Harper in Piggott, Ark., on March 8, 1947. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of the Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church in Huffman, Ark.

Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her parents, Blan H. and Reba Millay Williamson and Tunney, John, Frank and Blain Williamson.

Survivors of Mrs. Harper include Marvin Harper; David (Linda) Harper; Anise (Jerry) Rushing; one brother, Harold Williamson; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harper were held Wednesday, July 19 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Mo., with Bro. Rick Brothers officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele. Pallbearers were Clay, Blake, Bradley, Joseph, Jason Harper and Rickey Williamson.

John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
