July 19 - 504 Carleton. Plastic container set on fire underneath boat.

July 20 - 1405 County Road 536. Structure fire in kitchen. Teresa Jean.

July 25 - 1711 State Highway D. RV on fire. Michael Emery owner.

July 26 - 906 East 18th. Fire alarm sounding due to cooking.

July 28 - French Park. 3 foot pole set on fire.

July 31 - 1208 East 18th. Fire alarm sounding due to cooking.

Aug. 2 - Apartment #49 East Haven. Structure fire.

Aug. 5 - 900 Carleton. Gas odor from generator. Turned off valve.

Aug. 5 - 8.2 Mile Marker on I-55/412. Grass fire in the median.

Aug. 6 - 7.4 Mile Marker on I-55/412. Vehicle accident during rain.

Aug. 7 - 29 County Road 362. Structure fire. Moderate damage to attic.

Training for the month of July was vehicle extrication. Tyler Sullivan brought two vehicles to be used to practice using the extrication tools. 17 members were in attendance.

There have been 105 Subscribers to the Rural Fire Subscription. This is down 20 from last year.

The CFD will be hosting a Tanker Roll Over course on August 19 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. 26 area firefighters have registered for the free course sponsored by the Missouri Emergency Response Commission. Attending are 15 from Kennett, 4 from Jackson, Cardwell 3, Caruthersville, 2, Malden, 1, and Wardell 1.

Operation Healthy Delta will provide free medical assistance to area residents at no cost on September 13 through 21 at the Eastwood Memorial UMC at 512 Ward starting from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the UMC parking lot.
