Hayti Police Report

July 29 - At approximately 5:20 p.m. officers were called to the 200 Block of West Jefferson in reference to a strong arm robbery that had occurred. After an investigation officers were able to identify three possible subjects: 2 male juveniles, and a 17 year old male who all are from Hayti.

Aug. 7 - Officers were able to arrest the 17 year old male from Hayti. The male was processed at the police department and transported to the Justice Center where he is being held pending the filing of formal charges.

Aug. 8 - The county Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against Zaadrian Green, 17, on charges of robbery 2nd degree. Green is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

July 27 - At approximately 10:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to a local business in reference to three counterfeit checks that had been cashed. The checks were cashed on July 22 and July 24. There were three suspects that cashed each check at different times. Officers obtained the information and started an investigation.

Aug. 5 - Officers with the assistance of the Craighead County Sheriff’s department and the Greene County Sheriff’s department in Arkansas were able to identify all three of the suspects involved. The suspects were a female, 38, of Monette, AR, a female, 58, of Memphis, TN, and a female, 33, of Paragould, AR.

Aug. 9 - The county Prosecutor’s Office formally charged Angela M. Ivy, 38, of Monette, AR with forgery (class D felony), and identity theft or attempt (class A misdemeanor). Ivy has a bond of $35,000 cash or surety. Ivy is currently incarcerated at the Craighead county Justice Center pending extradition back to Pemiscot county. The second suspect was identified as Heather J. Mitchell, was charged with forgery (class D felony) and identity theft (class A misdemeanor). Mitchell has a cash only bond of $1,000. Mitchell is in custody at the Greene county Justice Center pending extradition back to Pemiscot county. The third suspect, identified as Bertha A. Dandridge, 58, of Memphis, is also charged with forgery (class D felony) and identity theft (class A misdemeanor). Dandridge has a cash only bond of $1,000 and is not in custody yet.

Aug. 10 - At 1:33 p.m. officers located and arrested Tamitha R. L. Eves, 37, of Hayti on an outstanding probation and parole warrant for absconding from Kennett Community Supervision Center. Eaves was processed at the police department and incarcerated in the Justice Center with no bond pending a court appearance.
