BILLY MAX JAMES

Billy Max James 59, of Wardell, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 17, 1957 in Hayti, Missouri to the late Joe Mac and Lavern Arant-James. He enjoyed camping, going to Derby’s, taking care of his pool, grilling for his family, working in his yard and growing his fantastic garden every year. He loved all of the years he put in working at Noranda. If you were his friend he loved you hard. Most of all he loved his family with all of his heart.

Survivors include; his wife Tina James of 26 years of the home; one son: Jordon James of the home; one daughter: Jennifer James-Schrader of Wardell, Missouri; one grandson: Landon Bradley of Wardell, Missouri; one brother: Larry Joe James of Lexington, Tennessee;

and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, one son: Dylan James; one grandson: Phillip Bradley; one sister: Janis Lewis; grandparents: W.O. and Eva James; Hallie and Evelyn Arant.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wardell Baptist Church in Wardell, Missouri with Bro. Griff Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Little Prairie Cemetery, Caruthersville, Missouri under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday at the church from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm. Pallbearers: Jimmy Williams, Mike Odom, Dean Wilson, Lavonne Patterson, Bill Peterson, and Jerome Ellis. Honorary Pallbearers: Brett James, Greg Phillips, Carles Johnson, Ron Fisher, and Garvin Fisher.
