SHIRLEY A. HEMENWAY

Shirley A. Hemenway, age 82 of Byron, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Pastor Bart Glupker officiated with burial following in Byron Cemetery.

Shirley was born in Caruthersville, Missouri to the late Jimmie and Jewel (Cowen) Medlin. On October 10, 1998 Shirley married Frank Hemenway in Gaines. She enjoyed volleyball and playing cards.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Frank, children: Randy (Molly) Camp of Manton, Rhonda (Jardo Fandi) Hernandez of Linden, Rusty (Stacie) Camp of Durand, Rene (Chuck) Bellamy of Vassar, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Bill in 1984 and 2 sisters.
