Sheltered workshop receives grant

The Bootheel Solid Waste Management District is pleased to advise that once again the Sheltered Workshop, Pemiscot Progressive Industries, in Pemiscot County (Hayti) is the beneficiary of grant funds in the amount of $48,405.00 to help with payroll funding for their associates.

The Solid Waste District appreciates Angela Hudgens, Director, and staff, for the outstanding job they do with recycling and the tonnage they keep out of the waste stream.

The Workshop is always in a neat and orderly fashion to insure associates are not put in harms way.
