Donald was a huge Dallas Cowboy football fan. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing with Mark Martin being his favorite driver. Donald’s biggest passion was people. He was very generous and absolutely never met a stranger. He loved his family and getting them together for a barbecue and swimming.
He was a member of the Caruthersville Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by two sons, Donald Ray “Trey” Lindsey, III and Cole Isacc Lindsey, four sisters, Pauline Starkey Vinson, Rebecca Rachel Hopper, Donna Faye Brodie, and Rita Louise Prater, one brother, Paul Allen Starkey, many relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Caruthersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment was in Maple Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Trey Lindsey, Harold Stataler, Lee Hawks, Larry Smith, and Johnny Marcrum.
